SR(A)WN 2015 — 7

This is the seventh issue of the Student Robotics (Almost) Weekly Newsletter, a (roughly) fortnightly newsletter which summarises the goings-on across SR. If you have feedback or think we've missed something, feel free to reply to this thread. Emboldened items are ones which we believe could do with extra hands. An absence of emboldening does not necessarily mean that everything is done.

• ARM will no longer be giving us any money for SR2015. As a result, SR2015 will only have 54 teams, the same number as SR2014.
• Organisation for Kickstart this year is under way, with announcements on the websiteexpected shortly. The organisers for each location are Murray Colpman for Southampton, George Field for Bristol and Sam Phippen for London - contact them for location specific information.
• 49 teams have signed up to SR2015 so far. Major omissions from the signups include SEN, GYG and RUN.
• The servo board v4 hardware is complete, and the firmware is underway.
• A budget mod was merged for SR2015 Kickstart and kit manufacture. This means we can now spend money on these things.
• Alistair is now organising the Kickstart Micro-games. If anyone is interested in contributing to their design and organisation, please email Alistair off-list.
