Spyder 4.1.5

Learning Python, just installed Anaconda Navigator and tried running Spyder.  When I run the script all I get is something like this:  runfile('C:/Users/victo/.spyder-py3/temp.py', wdir='C:/Users/victo/.spyder-py3') and no print....ie"Hello World" in the console.  What am I missing?  Ive gone back, downloaded Pycharm and it works fine. but I am trying to take an online Coursera course that uses Anaconda and Spyder and dont know what I am doing wrong.

Hi, I don't know if it's the same problem, and I'm not the only one to get it, but when I upgraded to Spyder 4.1.5, it didn't work and I have to execute some instructions to get again Spyder 4.1.2. I've seen a message in this forum where somebody said the problem would be solved quickly.

Hi Jean-Louis, 

I am not sure what I did but Spyder now works.  I changed the environment in Anaconda to HellowWorld from base. I definitely have much to learn about the IDE, Anaconda and Python but at least now I can continue with my online working.
