NBA player stat vs opponent

I know how to look up player stat vs opponent but is there a way to see all the stats all at once instead of have to query them seperately?

Like if I want to see Lebron's Stats vs Pistons when he's at home? I want to see his TPM, rebounds, assists, points all with one query. need a short cut. Thanks in advance.

so there isn't a shorter way ha? you have to repeat Lebron's name in all instances?

Yeah I think you have to it that way Ed you could season by season on your other question and it lists every season seperately vertically on the page

Added and season to separate them and it lists the years vertically same as that other one I gave you

thanks Thomas. that's what I needed. I had the right idea but the @1  and the minutes>1 was the trick. That makes my life hell of a lot easier now. Now I can look up each player really fast without having to pull each stat separately. Thanks a million brother.

Right on Ed glad I could be a little help. Just a hint if your doing lots of these kind of things is to list all the player names you're interested in and copy and paste all the game parameters beloww them in  word or notepad and then you just use a split screen to  copy and paste things you want to see:

Lebron:
etc
etc

Game Parameters: after all star break, assists, ats margin, ats streak, attendance, biggest lead, blocks, conference, date, day, defensive rebounds, division, dpa, dps, fast break points, field goals attempted, field goals made, fouls, free throws attempted, free throws made, game number, line, losses, margin, margin after the first, margin after the third
etc

OR

AASB - after the all star break
ATSL - against the spread loss
ATSW - against the spread win
AST - assists
ATR - assist to turnover ratio
AWP - Away Winning Percentage
BAP - Baskets Assisted percentage
BASB - before the all star break
DDS - Double Digit Scorers
DRB - Defensive Rebounds
FBP - fast break points
FGA - field goals attempted
FGM - field goals made
FGP - field goal percentage
etc
It makes things a lot easier if your doing multiple queries I've found. Anyways just a hint that may or may not make things quicker for you

Hey Ed I think I found something that will work for you to check the player stats you're looking for, here's the query I came up with:

name and season=2016 and o:team and site
 
It's a long list as you can imagine because you have every players stats vs each team in the league, click the SDQL to sort them alphabetically and then  activate the find function in your browser and type in the players name (I use firefox and that function is found under the edit tab at the top of the page) and I think this will streamline your efforts. Let me know if this helps

You can use minimally unique player names from the games-level query page like this:

Leb:points>50

http://sportsdatabase.com/nba/query?output=default&sdql=Leb%3Apoints%3E50

From the player page however, you will need to spell out the full name, like this:

name=Lebron James and points>50

http://sportsdatabase.com/nba/player_query?sdql=Lebron+James%3Apoints%3E50

Or, if you are comfortable with Python's sting splitting, and know that only one player name in the database starts with 'Leb':

name[:3]=Leb and points>50

Thanks Joe but what I'm trying to help Ed with from his original question was to get all the stats on one page and that works with my 1st thought of name and season=2016 and o:team and site (or just use H or A), just a little leg work to use the find button but you have indeed answered my thoughts and he can now use this:  Lebron James and 2014<=season<=2016 and o:team and H giving him exactly what he's looking for I believe. Thanks for the bump on that never occured to me to use full name. If you're looking at this or anyone that knows what does FP and FP/min stand for ? Fantasy points ? in those results

Thanks guys I didn't know you could even do players parameters like that. That's awesome. So the #s its showing me are those the average for Lebron between 2014 and 2016 season then? this is what I have been doing:

season,date,Lebron James :points, Lebron James :rebounds,  Lebron James :assists, Lebron James :TPM, Lebron James :FTM, Lebron James :minutes @1 and 2011<=season<=2016 and date<20170315 and o:team=Lakers and A and Lebron James :minutes>0

this way I see the #s for each year and season. i don't want just an average # per say. and then once I'm done with Lebron and want to check the next players #s what I do is, I added a extension for my browers that allows me to find and replace Lebron James for example, with Kyrie Irving and boom.. everything is replaced with his # instead of having to go in and retype all the names again. Very quick .

Ed the link query I left you name and 2014<=season<=2016 and o:team is not an average and when you click through a name after sorting the names under SDQL which can be found with the find function in all browsers the results are there for every game played against whichever opponent you choose not averages

The link Joe left me ( and thank you very much again Joe, duh) name=Lebron James and 2014<=season<=2016 and o:team and H may be simpler for some because you just type in the players name but you will come up with the same results as above but you have to be on the player parameter page for both those queries

is this the query you use for your player props? Going off average per season? Wouldn't you want to know Home vs Away stats etc? just curious im trying to get into player props and have no idea where to start

No you don't use averages whatsoever. If you are you're going about it all wrong. I asked because I wanted to make sure it wasn't averages. You have to look at away and home, per game vs apponent. There's a little more to it but those are the basics of it.

Found this kind of interesting on the player parameter page you can query this team and 2014<=season<=2016 and o:team and you get a list of all teams and their opponents during the time period you choose (2014-2016 in this one) and then sort them alphabetically  as before (SDQL LINK) and click on a link and see every players stats for every game for those teams, ie: team = Bucks and 2014 <= season <= 2016 and o:team = Bulls
Once on that page you can sort by dates, points etc. Because the database here has a 20 game limit of results you have to amend the address bar with this &show_games=200 to see all games and players

Thanks Thomas.. that's a lot of stuff to look at. I like this method. I can incorporate it with the other way we originally came up with and use both. But I like how you have every player on the same page. Makes life so much easier. BTW went 13-4 on player props yesterday again so its working like a charm. It's too easy. I think books set the lines because most people go off of players averages and not vs how they do against that team which is the biggest mistake you can make. 

On another note, on the team trends that we discussed there are a lot of plays today and all based on previous ATS. I'm sure you're gonna be all over those :)

Nice work Ed, the team trendsbets  are 21-8 since we talked and I've been watching the player stuff as well as I can with limited plays at the books I bet but I truly like the scenario. gl with that. I'm gonna run some of this stuff for playoff games and see if anything floats to the top. Happy some of the stuff in here helped out a little, gl with it.
