I have several virtual environments - simple python, flask, pelican, ...

If I plan to use sphinx to doc the various projects, where's best to install - in it's own venv, in each of the venv, ?????

Hi,

I think either is fine. Personally, I prefer to install Sphinx to each
project because it is useful to run it on CI platform.

Thanks,

Does that
1) eat up a lot of disk?
2) make change mgmt  more complex?

Maybe. But I don't mind that. because our HDD became large than ever.

I've never thought about it. I simply added Sphinx to requirements.txt
or other dependency list (tox.ini or setup.py).
