sonar.coverage.exclusions not working for me

I'm trying to exclude many generated files from coverage analysis in sonar. I do that from the sonar user interface, as shown in 'exclusions.png'.

To my disappointment it doesn't seem to work, domain_coverage.png shows that the classes are still reported as uncovered. What am I missing here ?

Hi,

First, please be aware that the standard courtesies (Hi, Thanks, ...) are appreciated in this group.

From your screenshot, I see that you're using version 4.5. That version was released ~2.5 years ago. 5.6.6 is the current LTS version, and you're going to have a hard time finding help for versions older than it.

I'd recommend upgrading to at least 5.5.6, if not the current version: 6.3. From there, if you're still having the problem, we'll be happy to help you diagnose it.

Hi guys!

I have a similar problem, after updating from Sonar 6.2 to Sonar 6.4 the coverage exclusions are not working any more for me. I am using the version 2.5 of the gradle plugin and in the sonar scanner context i can see the property.

Any ideas about how can I investigate this issue?

This since this thread has a little age on it, would you start a new one? Particularly since the SonarQube versions are entirely different.
