Using SonarQube 5.5 and Sonar Lint 2.x on Androd Studio(Plugin).
I have configured the bind service to my local host. No issues are found
When I try to analyze the codes. All issues are showing in android studio but they are not updating in local server

As analyzing the log it showing like this

Using configuration of 'project_unique_key' in server 'host'
Analysing 'MediaFragment.java'...
Found 21 issues

Please help

Hi,

I'm not sure to have understood your issue but if you expect to see SonarLint publish issues on your SonarQube server that's not how it is supposed to work.

Connected mode means that SonarLint will reuse part of the configuration you made for this project on SonarQube server (mainly rule sets).

If you want to see issues published in your SonarQube server then you have to use one of the SonarQube Scanner.

Hi,

You can install SonarLint in Android Studio by going to File / Settings / Plugins, click on Browse repositories... and enter "sonarlint" in the search bar.

Cheers,

It seems you are looking for the "connected mode". In connected mode, SonarLint imports the quality profile, rules and issues from the server + project that you configured. See the detailed explanation here:

Cheers,
Janos

Are you using SonarLint in your IDE?

Hi Janos
thank you for your response. The link you provided seems like from the screen shots the SonarLint is a separate application but my question is how do I import the SonarCube rules created on the server into SonarLint plugin that I installed inside Android Studio.

Thanks

The screenshot doesn't mean that no rules were imported.

That view in the screenshot shows the rule of a selected issue. For example:

Inline image 1

Here, notice that the description matches the issue selected in the list on the left.
