Hi,

I want to upgrade my OLED SkyView from MB06b to MB07 but after update there is still MB06b? Did I miss something?

Problem/error 2: On compass view there is still ft even I have set units to be metric.

Regards, Lovro

Lovro: the OLED version is not mine, so I don't know what software you mean by "MB07".  Or "MB06b" either.  Generally on the ESP32, if you update via wifi, sometimes the update fails and then you still have the previous version running.  For example, if the wifi connection breaks before the update is complete.  Which sometimes happens if a strong Wifi network with internet connection is available, the phone decides to switch to it.  Or, something that happened to me yesterday, I selected the file and tapped "update", then I thought nothing was happening so I tapped "update" again, somehow that failed, maybe the browser was sending two copies?

You are right and I then looked back to my e-mails and found them from Vlad and did upgrade from his repositori and now all is OK!

Glad you have sorted it out, Lovro.
I was busy with making updates to my AMOLED version and overlooked that the base was updated to MB07.
My latest versions is MB06VB005. I will take a look and check if anything worth porting across from MB07, i.e relevant to AMOLED.
I must also thank Moshe for the new and simpler 2D Rotate function ( which was updated in March). I have reverted back to use 2D Rotate instead of Push rotated sprites and that improved screen rendering dramatically. So I definitely recommend update to latest version from my repository and you will see sharper aircraft icons.

Hello,
just received new AMOLED round 1.75". After battery connection it switched on, I did its tests, all ok.

During ERASE and then START processes It looks everything fine but AMOLED does not switch on...
Any suggestions? Thank you. (in attachment a screen shot)

P.S. in the instructions please specify to connect a normal USB-C cable to upload the firmware from PC to AMOLED... (I spent a couple of hours to search where UART rx/tx/gnd pins are on AMOLED to connect it by an USBtoSERIAL on the PC)

...found the mistake: I forgot to select the 5 files clicking the 5 square boxes at the left of the 5 relative lines...

Ah , great news that you have managed  in the end.  I ll update the document to mention USB-C.
Hope you ll enjoy the SkyView AMOLED.
New version will be coming soon, with better battery management system. And change of Bluetooth to NimBLE stack, which is lighter in consumption.

Cheers.
