To One and All interested in F3RES Flying:

Mike Carris has found a source for the F3RES-specified HiStarts.  The web site is: zeller-modellbau.com

The hi-start specific to F3RES is available for 59.90 Euros, about $64.  It is complete: rubber, line, stake, reel, lots of small, shiny bits. I intend to purchase two.  We need at least four among us all to have an "official" F3RES contest.  Anyone interested, please let me know ASAP.  I will place my order on Monday, 28 November, and we can put them all on one order, perhaps saving some shipping fees.  I will order on behalf of everyone who wants one, and you pay me when they arrive.

The F3RES rules are a pretty level playing field, and having more hi-starts means more flyers per heat, making things more level still The airplanes have been exciting, and now we have the opportunity to start playing the game.

Also, the Zeller Modellbau site has a variety of fine airplane kits.

Yours, Greg

So cool to see this starting up here. I'd love to join in a F3RES comp some day soon. I just added a link to just the rubber and connectors if you want to replicate the RES comp highstart and save money for a new model. :)

Brian,

I bought two and have not built one yet.

I chose the RESoholic after Josef, the man who builds the Slite and PuRes, reported that it was a competitive glider in the new RES class. It also looks really cool, which peaked my interest in the beginning.
