Apple Mail repeated Distribution Groups

Hi all

I use Contacts Groups to ease up sending out emails to various groups of people.

But since Mavericks, I've noticed that in starting to type the first few letters of the group, there are repeated entries appearing in the drop down. Worse, not all are actually the group. The ones that appear as "Summer Camp Team <Summer Camp Team>" aren't real groups at all.

It's rather frustrating.... anyone know how to purge things a little so only the actual group is called?

Sometimes Mail's habit of storing email addresses of Previous Recipients can cause problems. Click on Window in the menu bar to access it.

Otherwise have no helpful ideas I'm afraid.
