Hello,

I'm wondering if the app works with the scosche rhythm plus hrm armband? I've been searching for info for a while but to no avail.

Thanks

Ps. If this is all huge type sorry, not sure how to make it smaller

Hello,

unfortunately Rhythm plus doesn't have a public API and the HRM monitor doesn't use the standard HR bluetooth interfacing, so I guess we're out of luck here :/

Thank you very much.

I know you posted quite a while ago, but I use my scosche rhythm plus with sleep tracking and it works great. I enabled hr detection in the app and turned on Bluetooth on phone. I put it on my wrist at night and turn it on, and it picks up immediately, battery lasts all night.

I am very close to buying this, so I need to know if it has been updated, and whether or not it will work w/SaA. BTW, It goes on the upper forearm, not the wrist. It is not a watch or step counter. It is strictly a HR monitor and is more accurate, supposedly, than anything other than a chest strap. It connects via BTLE.

I don't want it for anything else but sleep. What should I do?

Thanks,
Robin

Hi Robin,

Not sure if I'm replying to this in the correct way. My scosche rhythm plus hrm syncs up with Sleep (formerly Sleep As Android) just fine. I haven't used it as a night time hrm in a year however. In the past it would cut out the hrm in the middle of the night but there have been a lot of updates since then. I'll wear it tonight and reply tomorrow morning on how it went.

Richard

Hi Robin,

I used the scosche over night with the Sleep app. It worked perfectly, no cut outs or stoppages. The reports inside Sleep very clearly showed my heart rate throughout the night. The one and only concern would be the length of your sleep. The scosche has enough battery for about 8 - 10 hours. Since that's the only concern this is a great pairing worth the money! If you see this could you please respond? Otherwise I'll resend it directly to your email.

Thanks,
Richard

Hello,

the easiest thing is to try it! You can download fully functional Sleep as Android from the Play Store for free (the free version just can track sleep every other day, no other limitations).
Please make sure to enable Settings > Wearables > Bluetooth smart and then start sleep tracking. Ideally send me a debug log (menu > report a bug) afterwards.

Thank you very much.

I didn't see this one! Thank you!!!

That's correct: Order it, try it for about 3 nights, and then send the debug reports every morning. If it doesn't work, I send it right back. If it does, you get the debug reports to find out how it worked in the first place. They advertise that it works with just about any app, but we'll see.

Thank you both!

Best,
Robin
