I am attempting to install the SageCell server in VirtualBox using a Kubuntu 15.10 operating system. I have used the commands found at https://github.com/sagemath/sagecell, but when I call make, there is an error that occurs when building Sage. Specifically,

Makefile:596: recipe for target 'all-toolchain' failed
make[1]:***[all-toolchain] Error 2
...
Error building Sage.
Makefile:16: recipe for target 'all' failed
make:***[all] Error 1

Has anyone else run into this issue?

do you have the tools needed to build Sage from source installed on your guest OS (Kubuntu)?
