Hello Review Board community,

Nice to meet you! I've installed Review Board recently to evaluate its use at the company I work for. I tried installing the RBTools (the blue download button in https://www.reviewboard.org/downloads/rbtools/#windows gives me a 403, so I had to get an installer from the archives), but when I try running "rbt" from the command line, I get the following error message:

C:\Program Files\RBTools\bin\..\Python\python.exe: can't open file 'C:\\Program Files\\RBTools\\Python\\Scripts\\rbt-script.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory

I can see that there's no rbt-script.py in that directory. I tried uninstalling and installing and older version, but that didn't solve the problem either. I tried searching for my problem online, but I couldn't find any references to it. Can I ask you for some guidance, please?

Best,

--Ignacio

Hi Ignacio,

Well none of that is good! Let me look into why the current installer can’t be downloaded.

Also, can you let me know what archived copy you used?

Christian

Hi Christian,

Thank you for chiming in. I tried with 5.1.1 which I downloaded from here: https://downloads.reviewboard.org/releases/RBTools/5.x/index.html

I also tried with 5.1 and 5.0.

A few minutes ago, I tried with 4.1, and this one seems to be working fine. Though I'm not sure if it's advisable for me to stay in a pre-5 version.

I'll use 4.1 for now to learn my way around 'Review Board', but hopefully you can get to the bottom of what's happening with the Windows installers for 5.1.1 so that I can upgrade.

Best,
