I know this sounds ridiculous, but I forgot my password to Revelation. I haven't used it for a couple of weeks while I moved house and now I can't remember it. All my passwords are on Revelation and now I am desperate. Can I export the data file to a new version of Revelation? Please let me know

If I understand your question correctly, all I can say is that the purpose of the strong encryption is to make it /impossible/ to recover your data without the password...

In order to export your data there is simply no alternative to knowing the password, unless you have a supercomputer and a few million years to spare... if this was not the case, Revelation and other password safe software would be no better than a spreadsheet.

I guess that's not the answer you wanted to hear, and I hope I didn't misunderstand your situation... but I'm afraid this might be the price of real security.

James

If you remember used symbols and their count you could try to bruteforce it.
You can use this class.

For example, if you remember that password is fgj***hy** and missing characters are lowercase (g, h, t, r, s) but in unknown order - it is only 3125 variants.
