Hi
Have been trying to install FFmpeg and not AVCONV on a Ubuntu 14.4 installation, but now RS fails the installation test "FAIL: /usr/bin/avconv' not found" -RS defaults to use AVCONV.
The next version of Ubuntu will go back to FFmpeg instead of AVCONV.
How can i return RS defaults to use FFMPEG ?

Thanks in advance
Lars Hoyer

Last I knew, RS wasn't specifically forcing avconv, but would look for ffmpeg or avconv within the specified path.

Are you sure avconv is located within /usr/bin?

Hi Allison
Strange my question disappered in Goggle group ...

(maybe good the same)

Thanks for answering. I did install ffmpeg only and not avconc - so it turns out i need to change the location to /usr/LOCAL/bin instead of /usr/bin

I was sleeping on my desk :)

Thanks
