WTB: Rosco Bubbe Road f/f 58cm

This was my first Riv many years ago.  I really liked it, but I sold it to fund another project-- which is a decision I've regretted for years.

For reference, here is the Rosco Bubbe write up from 2016, I'm looking for the dark blue one.

Keep the faith—if it’s meant to be it will come! Thanks to this group I found a Rosco MMM/or MTN whatever you call it. Brand new too! I haven’t posted about it yet because I’m still needing to take proper pictures. I’ll keep an eye out for you!

@Joe:  I didn't have to keep the faith for long!  Last weekend another list member contacted me that he had one he could move on, it arrived this morning, and I built it up and rode it into the office today!!!  I'm over the moon!  This time I won't let it go.  

Good catch on the Rosco MTN. I had my eye on one of those too.  Looking forward to seeing your build.

I think this is the style Gabriel had in mind and picked up.  It's the blue version from the Riv update he linked. It doesn't look very "road-y" as it's setup today, but I'm seriously considering moving my previous errand runner back into service and converting this to drop bars.  And I'm envious of Joe's MMM!  Those look like SO much fun.  I saw one for sale a couple of years ago that lingered on craigslist.  I just...couldn't...swing it... at the time.  Ah well, maybe I'll end up with another 650b Riv at some point.

Hey Kurt, yes, that is the model I was looking for.  I really dig that build!  Mine is not set up road-y either.  I have been into riding trails on fixed gears lately, so that is how I set up mine.  It is a total blast!

Thank you, Gabe, but in the interest of giving credit where it is due, I didn't build it up.  It came from Bill Lindsay.  Bill has a great eye for builds.  All I added was the front rack and basket, which replaced the one he had on but wanted to keep.  It's definitely one of the bike related purchase decisions I don't regret.  There have been plenty on the other side the equation!

That said, I'll echo another poster - your build looks like an enormous amount of fun!
