Selling my brand new Crust Malocchio. 19 lbs Gorgeous bike that rides like a dream that unfortunately is too big for me.  As you may know, Crust messed up the rear bridge and the stock frame can only fit 35c in the back.  I had my buddy Nao Tomii, the frame builder. fix the bridge for me and now fits 42 front and back. I currently have Tomii's unreleased 40c tires he made in collaboration with Simworks.

I spent $5289 on the build not including labor. Letting it go for $4k. Let me know if you have any questions.

Frame: Crust Malocchio 55cm with rear bridge repair ($1275 + $600 repair)

Man, that frameset would be tempting to build up as a multigear lightweight gofast road bike (the tire clearance a bonus) if it were several sizes larger.

Academic question, since it’s too small for me, but am I right in thinking that, at least in the rear, there is room for a 42 slick/road/non-knobby tire (I know yours are 40s) and a fender if the fender is very carefully installed? In the front?

Do the Diacomp BRS 202s give you ample “stopping power”?

Again, very nice frame and build and very nicely set up.

ahhh, interesting question. It'd be close. Possible but unclear until I'd try it. I'd say 40 for sure. And the Diacomp on carbon rims are totally fine. I was worried as well.
