Hi everyone - I'm selling my blue 61 Ram. I bought it from Pedal Revolution in San Francisco in 2015 for $2150.  I've since replaced plenty of parts - new cassette, chain, center chainring, crank arm, and bottom bracket.

61 cm royal blue frame
SON front hub with halogen headlight not sure of the light brand name
Rim Type - Open Sport
35 Marathon Supremes, brand new (50 miles)
Selle Anatomica saddle
Soma drop bars with bar-end shifters
Lugged stem not sure if it's Nitto or not
Shimano 105 front derailer
Rear Ultegra Shimano derailer
Seat Post Nitto
Crankset - 46/34/26
Brake calipers
Brake levers

I've attached an example of the minimal paint damage.  And the front hub has an ultra-minor dent that's noticeable during breaking, difficult to even find.

I'm looking for $2000 for local pickup, wiling to ship at buyer's expense.

Weekend test rides are good, as well as during the workday. I work downtown in San Francisco. Please be sure to email me directly for any questions djj...@gmail.com

Thanks for looking,

Jonathan

I have a Rambouillet and it is flexier and easier to pedal down the road and uphills than my Bleriot and Sam.

Especially feels easier going uphill. So these are really nice riding bikes. I love the blue color, too.

How do you tell someone who buys seriously from someone who buys frivolously? Do they use the same currency?

Patrick Moore, who actually knows what you meant to say, in ABQ, NM, and who sold his own 58 Ram, but still would like to see photos of yours, serious or not.

I'm not so sure what you meant by that? There are pics on the posting.

Is this a 58? I am a little confused by the listing.

Thanks. I sometimes sniffle a few tears of nostalgia for the 58 cm blue Ram that I sold a few years ago. Damned nice bike, but for me, with 2 Road customs, it fell between my very arbitrary and just as strictly delimited bike categories. I wanted something either more "roadie" or more "gravel", and if gravel, then it had to take 50 mm tires at a minimum, for our local river sand.

I built mine as an all rounder road-biased rider, with 35 mm (32 actual) Kojaks, later replaced with the oh! so much much more nice 29 mm Parigi Roubaix (this was before Compass had its current full selection of sizes). Stan's made the P-R's possible in goatheadland. Close-ish ratio "compact" (nudge nudge, wink wink) "compact" 52/38 double, Dura Ace 7410, the most beautiful crank ever made, IMO, with home-brew 16-26 or somesuch 9 speed, shifted by Silvers on the downtube, for ~ 88 down to a stump pulling 40 gear inches. Ubercool 7410 Dura Ace spds, Nitto bar and stem, Flite on Iforget seatpost, SP hub in front, old Ultegra rear -- I think it was an 8 speed-era Ultegra hub.

Nice, but not as nice as my custom Roads!

FWIW (and this is adressed to all y'all): If, when Bumping, you use Forward instead of Reply, the new message keeps the photos attached. I learned this the hard way.

Thanks,

I'm still learning to use this board. I'm sad to let this bike go bc I love it. I have an Atlantis as well thats more my primary bike. I'm in a tight financial situation so I have to do what I need to do :(

Sorry you have to sell for necessity instead of preference. Hope your financial situation improves, and that you can buy the Rivendell of your dreams (me: either Roadeo or Atlantis).
