Now I just have to decide what to do with the Clem. I have the cranks and front derailer that came on it, which I removed for the e-kit, plus the Boscos and stem I just replaced with a Jones Loop. The Chev will need road calipers and short-pull levers, so that leaves the brakeset on the Clem. Oy, now that I think about it, I pretty much just need another 650B wheelset to have two complete bikes! ;-)

I have an orange canti-Sam and ride both trails and roads. I do switch wheelsets often lighter Synergies with Barlow Pass ELs for roads and A719s with Smart Sams for trails. The Sam handles both pretty well. I'd thought about trading to a Joe when they first came out for the wider tire clearance but liked the Sam better on roads. I think I'd prefer the Joe on trails and for bike packing (although Sam handles it). If I'd been debating it at purchase, it would have been a tough decision. Since I would have had to sell the Sam to buy the Joe, I stayed happy with what I had.
One thing I found is the cx50 brakes are a must on a canti bike if you change wheels often. Will suggested that and it's been a great purchase.

I dislike double top tubes, but I like the rest of this Sam! Well, I'd prefer discs or cantis. But the rest of it!ENO?And are the Big Bens, as a very quick Google said, really 2" wide? On a Sam?My earlier, 55 or 56 cm single tt Sam wouldn't take a 50 mm tire, so I guess they've changed the design?

2018 Soma Buena Vista will have discs and take 650b wheels. Sliding dropouts mean all you would need is a disc fixed hub (Paul Components, maybe?), and you'd have your
DISKY FIXIE SIX FIFTY MIXTE.
