Aside from price and only comparing standard casing. Does anyone have any experience with both?

The Switchback is a way bigger tire, reported as measuring over 50mm in many cases. A more direct comparison would be Babyshoe Pass.  If you can fit Switchbacks, its a pretty dreamy tire, but if you want more of a classic 42, Parimoto is great.

I have a bike designed around a 42 with fenders , I just scooped up the parri motos in 48 don't have calipers to measure but it's tight . Did this to see if the switchbacks would fit before committing $200. The frame accommodates 48 w/o fenders. But I think if it's any bigger it won't fit. Really trying to keep the fenders .

I have the Switchbackhill tires on my new Sam, no fenders.  Fit great.  Supposed to only take 45mm.

I like my switchback hills more than the wtb horizons they replaced, though I've heard the parimotos are pretty supple.

I still wipe out all the time going around corners. Apparently the 48mm tires with low pressure don't corner as well as the 32mm tires on my other bike :-/

Yeah I wiped out on the rat traps while cornering as well I had it at 19psi super plush but wide tires definitely increase the turn radius on lower pressure.
