Clem 52 to try

soooo, perhaps this is a oddish request and a shot in the dark...but, I'm wondering if anyone will be in philly with a 52" clem that I could try.... it was the very first Riv I was able to find "near" me in the North East  and it was like riding on a cloud (mind blowing comfort) but felt a little to long for me.   I since have gotten a platy which I'm perfectly happy with but.....I guess it's sort of like your first love (so I've heard...I've been married to mine for years) you always wonder?

I have a few Rivs, including a 52 Clem. I'm planning to attend the Philly Bike Expo. Not sure yet if I'm bringing the Clem though. Are you wanting to trade your Platypus?

No, We put too much work into it at this point lol, it would be a second bike which I probably don't need but desire anyway. Keep me posted and we can try and swap some test rides.

The Clem is a super comfortable bike. Sounds like you know that already:-) I also have an Appaloosa, and a Roadini. I'll let you know if i end up bringing the Clem to the Expo.

I'm not going but if you are saying Philly not because you are visiting but because you reside in the central PA area then I might be able to help. I have a 52 and live around Hershey PA (the sweetest place on earth is what they say)

There is at least one Philadelphia resident who has a 52 Clem and who I’ve seen at the Philadelphia bike expo with his Clem . He’s on this board sometimes but not very often.  If I remember his name, I’ll let you know. 

Leah had rode both bikes for many years so although it won’t take a place of you riding the Clem, you might get some insight from her.
