Today I was so thrilled to see my son's 45 cm Clem in grilver featured on the Blug. Is this what being famous feels like? Floating on clouds and your heart spilling over with joy? That's my BABY on that Blug! Anyway, I just wanted to say that this little bike has been the best thing to happen to us all year, and I'm not exaggerating. It makes me smile every single day I see it there, gorgeous and useful and beloved, next to my old Betty Foy. If anyone was on the fence about an extravagant, unforgettable, irreplaceable Christmas gift, I can highly recommend a Clem for your child. Like ours, it will be the secret jewel of the bike rack at school!

He looks like the happiest kid on the planet!!!!  It's great that he can appreciate an item of quality and he's enjoying it so much.  I don't expect this fame to go to his head.  :)

He is so happy! He really appreciates his bike, and it is getting a lot of use outside of the school commute these days. He joined the basketball team at school and it has dawned on him that his Clem is his ticket to freedom. He bikes to the park to shoot hoops or to his teammate’s house and plays ball with the 3 brothers who live there. This arrangement lights up all the pleasure centers in my brain. Riding your bike to play ball with the good folks of your neighborhood? Yes and amen.

When he got out of school I showed him the Blug and he was so tickled...until he got to the part where I said he was “slight of build.” 🙄 I told him I thought he would have objected to “skinny” or “scrawny.” 🤷‍♀️

Leah, I just saw the pic's -- good ones!  Loved the action shot of Ethan shellacking his grips.  I do think the Clem should be on the national treasures list.

Leah,

It’s been a joy to watch Ethan’s Clem story unfold. You’re a great Riv ambassador! :)

Thanks, Ana! Clems do seem to be our jam. I realized a while back that in my extended family we have FOUR of them. My husband’s 52 Clem H in French blue, my mother in law’s 52 Clementine in aqua, my brother in law’s 59 Clem L in grilver and my son’s 45 Clem H in grilver! Wow!

Leah,
You are forgetting the most famous family Riv of all; YOUR BETTY. 🤷🏻‍♂️. Wishing your extended family a much deserved wonderful 2019🎉🎊.
Continue the great stories and enjoy your snowmobile rides in God’s Country!

Sincerely,

Ah, my dear, sweet Betty. She is in her own class. Until these Clem-riders in the family can catch her in miles ridden, they must bow to her. 2012-Present. They better get riding!

Ryan, don’t you have some new Rivendells to regale us with? I’m waiting for an update on that thread!
❤️,
Leah
