hello RBW group.
i am posting my cheviot for sale tentatively. usually the way this goes is, I start by saying "i don't really want to sell it but I might have to" and then someone contacts me and is so excited about buying it that i feel happy to let it go to them.

here are deets:
60cm frame, green sparkle.
although not pictured, will come with Nitto Albatross (heat treated alu).
Nitto technomic stem 110mm
Rich-built standard wheels (Velocity Atlas rims, Silver Hubs, 36hole front and rear) - the front one is quite new because they replaced it.
Cream Schwalbe big bens (700x50)
Sugino XD2 175mm Cranks with the double + chainguard (chainguard is bent from hitting a root in golden gate park).
Paul Melvin SS chain tensioner
Paul Thumbie with ultegra bar end mounted
Paul Racer centerpull brakes front & rear
Gear clamps (hold the SS cog in place). http://www.gearclamp.com/ to get an idea
Surly singlespeed cog.
older XT (i think M736) front derailer
Nitto S65 seatpost (single bolt)
Shimano mountain brake levers (riv favorite)
MKS sneaker pedals
(no saddle)
(rack, basket, safety triangle, bottle cage, & bags not included)
With regard to handlebar/stem, i don't know. I have a few options (albatross+tallux)

If you want to make it geared I can put together some parts that would help you do so, and omit the singlespeed gear. Just let me know and I can tell you what I have. However this 2speed setup is killer, and works flawlessly.

I am thinking $1,600. Local pickup only please. I have no idea where to find a box that will fit the long wheelbase frame, and I am not interested in the hassle of shipping. I think it's fair to ask for local pickup only in the Bay Area where these bikes are so ubiquitous. I live at Ocean Beach San Francisco, right by where Lincoln way hits the great highway. text is best! (three onee oh) nine sicx thee, sixn nine fiive niner) (sorry to spell my phone number so annoying, i get enough telemarketers).

thanks for looking and please contact me if interested!

Hi Dave,
I am really trying to make space in my small apartment and pay off a loan. This being said I have had a semi-custom B+ hardtail in the pipeline made by my friend Carlos Velazquez under the name Dark Moon Cycles. I also just bought a Surly Midnight special frame, and some expensive dynamo wheels. So not any exact 1 for 1 replacements, just moving on I guess.
Cheers
Adam
