Atlas-like but tubeless

Any recommendations for a atlas-like rim that is tubeless ready? I was about to pull the trigger on an atlas dyno wheelset, but now I'm wondering about wanting the option to go tubeless in the future, if I'm dropping a significant chunk of money.
So I'd be looking for a double wall, 19mm minimum internal, rim braking, 36 hole, tour and trail capable rim.
Anything good out there? Rims are not something I frequently check out, so I'm pretty ignorant here.

Why 36 hole?

Pacenti brevet and HED Belgium Plus would be my top two, but I do t think you can get the HED rims in 36 hole.

I've got a couple weeks on the 700c version and I think they're fantastic, and certainly a rarity being tubeless compatible and rim brake ready.

36 just cause I tend to overload and overabuse. Probably woundnt damage a 32 hole, but 36 would give me better piece of mind, i think.

Good info on the cliffhangers. I was looking at them too.

Yeah, I think the cliffhanger is the way to go for anyone wanting strong, wide, rim brake compatible rims.  I think the atlas are just stouter dyads, which I've found to be too narrow for 50+mm tires.

I am really happy with 36h 650b Cliffhangers they are stout, built up easy, nice and wide and were amazingly easy to setup some thunder burts up tubeless for my Bombadil.

The Atlas is more like a stouter Synergy, the rims look almost
identical. I have a mixed Synergy/Atlas wheelset (F/R). After I
cracked the rear Synergy, Velocity rebuilt the wheel with an Atlas. I
removed the labels on both and you really can't tell the difference.

No issues since the rebuild.

Ok leaning toward cliffhangers. They won't be too wide for a 46mm tire, right? I'm thinking I'll run compass sbh or wtb horizon for most regular riding and then have the option to put something bigger on for off road trips.

I think SBH will be closer to 48-50mm range depending on pressure for cliff hangers. they are 47.5mm on pacenti brevets with 19mm internal width i believe. so the cliff hangers should be fine with SBH

About the only time a rim is too wide is if the rim is wider than the tire !  I recall back in the day riding on Specialized 1.5" tires on Araya 7x rims which are 32.2mm .  Wider rims give better tire profiles than narrow ones. In pro road racing for example, they run rims that are near the same width as the tires for the least air turbulence. We're talking like a 23/25mm tire on a 23mm rim or a 25/28mm tire on a 25mm rim.  Of course this doesn't matter for us but offering this as an example of just how close rim and tire width can be. No longer are the days of running the narrowest rims you can find to run a tire more than twice it's width.

Sounds like you're convinced already, but just to add one more data point: I'm runnning 40mm tires (wtb nano's) on the 700c cliffhangers currently and it works great.  As others have said, the wide rim spreads out the tires profile, maximizes its volume, and makes it ride and handle really nice, IMHO.  I constantly feel like the 40mm tires on that bike outperform their width in terms of traction and smoothness, compared to similarly sized tires on another bike with more standard width rims (CR-18 and Dyad)
