Let's place bets. How long do you reckon some 1/16" brass rod will last as a light mount to my S65 seatpost?

Analog sells BlueLug's saddle rail mount for this KoMA light which I purchased but in the meantime, I tried a hack of my own, and after several failed attempts, landed on reusing some leftover brass rod I was planning on melting. Fits like a glove...and it's preeeettty light...just not sure of it's longevity. Might remake one with 1/8 inch stuff. Might just keep as is.

Cheers,
Andrew

Very elegant! I do hope it lasts at least as long as the seatpost.

Nicely done.

Cheers, John

Nice, Andrew!

I had to save this pic of Roman's combo Koma light holder and pump peg. What the hell is this piece? Apparently a brake part of some kind.

Eric, it's a rear brake cable hanger. I dig Roman's repurposing of it!

I dig your brass wire mount too Andrew! Let us know how it holds up.

Elegant! …but if it was mine, I’d put a simple string tether on it so I didn’t lose the light when the brass fatigued and broke.
My AU$.02 (not even worth US$.014 these days)
cheers,

Genius! I added the leash and took it for a spin with some rough sections. No creaks and it stayed put.

Short term success: ✅
