Hi Friends!

Up for sale is a 2015 Rivendell Clementine in 52 cm and luscious aqua paint. I’m selling it so I can turn right around and give that money to Rivendell for a shiny new Cheviot this spring. Therefore, this is a no-guilt purchase!

This bike has the coveted Clementine name, low miles, and has several upgrades. See the posting for complete list. It has long chainstays, but not extreme like the 2019 Clems. You get the luxurious ride, but this bike will fit on your vehicle bike rack, and thank goodness for that. 

I prefer to sell local, and I’m attaching the Craigslist ad here. If no local buyer, I’ll be willing to ship. The trees are budding here in southern Nevada. Spring is coming, folks. 

You need a new bike.

I'll also chime in that this is a spectacular color which only happened with the Clementine name. When was the last time you saw one for sale. Exactly!

Thanks, and welcome to the List!

I’m looking forward to reviewing the new bike! Today I took my fully racked, bagged and basketed Clem on a hilly paved trail in the desert with my littler son and I thought as I puffed up the hills, “I need something less encumbered.” I love love love Clems for everything else, but when I want to drop everything and go - that’s what a Cheviot could be for!

Joe is right, this aqua gem is rare and lovely. I’m not excited to part with it!

Tom - very hard decision. My other Clem is going to (finally) be perfect when the new (and final) taller stem arrives, and then it’s forever mine. I will ride the wheels off of it. Be buried with it. All of that. The future is bright. And the future is CLEM.

The Clementine is one of the nicest bikes I’ve ever ridden. I hope whoever buys it will be worthy of it. This bike is NOBLE, and capable and darling. People smile at it, yes they do. It deserves to be adored because it is a JOY-BRINGER.

I remember when I was a new list member asking for bike model guidance. You had the Betty Foy, husband a Clem H, and your MIL this bike. This is the one you recommended, you loved the ride so much.

I remember, Roberta! And I still say the same. This bike rides better than my beautiful Betty Foy. She never thought she’d be upstaged by a Clem, but here we are. The future is bright. The future is CLEM.
