Ratings not written to wavpack files (APE tags)

I can't seem to get the ratings to write to my files.  I have the Force Write plugin activated. When i change a rating and then change a tag in the editor, just to save the file the rating is not visible (or at least not visible to mutagen-inspect).

Looking at http://wiki.musicbrainz.org/MusicBrainz_Picard/Tags/Mapping  i see that there is no rating tag natively in APE files, but perhaps the vorbis comment style could be wirtten to it anyway?

I tried converting a file to ogg and it still did not write the tag.

Any ideas? More info needed?

QL doesn't write rating tags for APEv2, but should for Ogg Vorbis if
enabled in the preferences.
