It's only six weeks until Stoneleigh every body! The Marquee and all the equipment is all ordered and food and drink is all in hand so all we need now is to arrange for some nice weather for the 1st and 2nd of May. So don't forget  to make your arrangements to be there for the event of the kit car year!

I've only had my quantum a few months and I have never been to stoneleigh, do I need to do anything other than turn up in my quantum??? Can't wait

Niall,
It will be good to see a new face at the show. The official show days are
Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, but members will be there from the Saturday
afternoon to set up the stand. A good number of members will camp on our
stand on Saturday and Sunday nights. Breakfast and dinner is provided to
members and on the Sunday we have our AGM in the marquee followed by a BBQ
then a quiz.

If you are not a member you can join at the show.

The busiest day is usually the Sunday, but the weather can make a big
difference to the numbers.

Nope, just drive up to the main gate (ignore all the car parks) and drive
into the showground for free. Passengers have to pay.
Then drive (slowly) down to the club stand and park up.

No Anthony just head for the main entrance once through turn right and stand 35 on left. You can't miss it normally the largest marquee is your homing device. See you Saturday any time from 12 noon.

Bad news is I cant make Saturday or Sunday but hope to make the Monday...last year was my first year in my Xtreme and we stayed for the whole weekend...

Good News is I cant make Sunday 1st May because I have acceptance to show my Xtreme at Goodwood!

There's a Soft top day and I will go along and show all an example of a Quantum Xtreme...

I trust Stoneleigh goes well...

Have fun at goodwood,  get there really early, the queuing to get in starts 30mins + before the gates open.  Well, it did a few years ago when I took my xtreme down there.

good to say hi to some of you yesterday!

shame the weather tainted it a bit, but I still had a really good drive up and back from New Malden SW London. Got a bit wet for the first 30mins of my way back, then again a bit on the M25 later in the eve after I left my folks in Buckingham.

All good fun tho and at least it wasn't freezing like last week!

Need new bonnet, wheel , ball joint etc , third party claim cos it was his fault , just need to source repairs or doit myself let I now how I get on !

Can I thank everyone for a great weekend at Stoneleigh?
The warm welcome really made up for the somewhat cold wether.
So many people, so many stories and so many questions.
It was an intense experience, especially the pubquiz, as I'm no Simpsons expert🙂.
Quantum-post also succesfull Eddie and Hans, although a driversdoor behind your seat makes the driverposition a bit awkward.

See you all next year, or at the Euregio Meeting 28th of August in Holland.
