1788 will of David Pursell, Rockingham Cty, NC

In trying to find our original David's roots back to Britain, we have uncovered his will in the NC archives.  I have it transcribed and will be happy to send a copy of the original (microfilmed) and the transcription to any one interested. Interesting to me in that it mentions some offspring I had never heard of before.  May be avenues to more info on our David.

I've recently run into the name of David Purcell as a possible father of one of our ancestors.  His name was George C Purcell born in 1776 and married to Melinda Purcell.  They last resided in Fellowsville (Preston County VA/WV).  He was a farmer and had quite a few offspring I have information about. Is there any mention of George C Purcell in the Will?

Diane,  I am in Florida until end of Aptil and no access to those files.  But our original David did have a son George. check the willand my ancestry site for more info on him.  remind me on my return home and I will see what info I have that might connect us.
