Purcell family in Ohio - supposedly settled in Loraine County cty. before settling in Wood County, Ohio. Benjamin Frank bought an acre of land in Wood Cty, Ohio pon April 5, 1864. His mother was Elizabeth & father Dennis Purcell who died in 1855.

Benjamin Frank bought an acre of land in Wood Cty, Ohio pon April 5, 1864.  His mother was Elizabeth & father Dennis Purcell who died in 1855.  Benjamin died at age 20, and his mother filed for a pension.

Jno and B.F. signed up for the 72 regiment in Ohio, I am trying to find out if they were brothers.   Elizabeth claimed to have 4 boys in the War and 2 died.??

I’m wondering about an article or tutorial on the best way to use your website.

There is the forum; the list of volumes and a few people have answered my question.

Also, if I ask for the printed newsletters; do I get them after paying dues….?

Still, I wonder if someone who knows the workings of the site might have

a good idea on how best to use the site.

I found a really good clue but I’m not done with it…..because I need to find land records next.

The clue was that a person paid so many shillings in taxes……..

Curiosity doesn’t always work ……to complete all steps at once.
