Hey everybody, first off, this is the link
http://publiclab.org/notes/dhaffnersr/07-20-2016/absorption-and-fluorescence-spectra-of-safranin-o-aka-basic-red-2
It is titled: "Absorption and Fluorescence Spectra
of Safranin O (aka., Basic Red #2)"
There is a header also titled, "Origin of the word “science” Latin Scientia- know," the word is simply knowledge, to know, and that's what a lot of us here want and search for, there are currently 8642 contributer's here at Plab, and who knows how many more curiously pass by to check us out. Knowledge and the pursuit of it, is for anyone and everyone, not just a select few, or the elite. Here I believe, is a great place to express that inner curious nature within all of us, at what ever level of intellect we may be at, hence the meaning of the word "science."
Even the brightest of us, can sometimes lose sight of the fact, that they may indeed be still able to grow and learn also. So with this in mind, it may be a fact that perhaps only 5 or 500 individuals may read my postings, that's not the point, the point is in the "doing" of it, the work, both creatively and intellectually. That is what matters to me, it should never be a discouragement to anyone, to post their thoughts or work here, for fear of ridicule or embarrassment. This is how I feel and think about this subect and wanted all of you to know. Thanks!
Dave H!
