play 1.2.7 failed test and 1.2.x is same failed test

I checked out 1.2.7 and ran ant test and 1.2.x and ran ant test but both fail the binding... test case.  I am on a Mac.  Is anyone else getting this issue?

Also, do we post here or on the playframework google group?  I just randomly found this one recently.

(personally, we loved play 1 but thought play 2 way way too slow even though we love scala...the compiler has just been way to slow in the past while the language is wonderful).
