One thing to note : They have publicly stated that they will NOT be retiring any of the PFS races at Gencon. They said that at Paizocon. So there should be no reason to cement your Wayangs/Kitsune etc.

If you can wait somewhere between June 23-June 25, I can probably run Thornkeep, The Accursed Halls (AKA, I might kill you level), tier 1-2.  I'll know better as it gets closer and my work schedule/load gets settled.

Recent update: not only are no races being retired, the four elemental races (ifrit, oread, sylph, and undine) will be added to the list of non-boon races.

Will you still need all 4 elemental races boons for that one special boon (I forgot name of it)?

I believe you're referring to the Elemental Dilettante boon that was part of the newer GM boons that let you play those four races; if you used boons that let you play an ifrit, an oread, a sylph, and an undine, you could instead play a suli.  That is still a perfectly legal way of playing a suli.

That said, the current GM boon lets you play a suli, without having to combine multiple boons.  It does, however, have an alternative use; if you use that new suli GM boon on a suli character you made using that Elemental Dilettante boon I just described, you can instead add a racial trait from one of those four races to the suli character.

I was thinking that the special elemental combo boon might be a reason to still trade those elemental race boons.

My understanding is that there is a new Suli boon.  If you have the new boon, you don't need anything else to play a Suli.

However, that new boon sheet has a second boon that instead gives you a bonus if you attach it to a Suli PC that was created with the 4 elemental race boons.
