In a future release, could util.c be renamed to osqp_util.c or similar?  This might also apply to some other commonly-used filenames that could be appended with "osqp_", to make it easier to use OSQP along with other software.
Thanks,
Matt

We are aware of this issue and are tracking it here:  https://github.com/oxfordcontrol/osqp/issues/67

I'm afraid I can't provide an estimate for when it will be resolved though.

I believe what Matt is asking means having files with osqp-specific names in order to avoid confusion. Am I correct? If yes, it is different than the namespaces issue.

You are right.   Perhaps we should include a change of filenames at the same time as making the namespace corrections though, since the root problem is the same.

Why are conflicting file names an issue? Is the use case copy-pasting the OSQP source into your project and not using object files or libraries?

Yes, the use case is combining the custom code generated by OSQP with additional code/packages.
Thanks,
Matt
