Hi all,

I created an overlay map with MAPC2MAPC (see the topic here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/osmand/bG1SGGNYxYI and thanks to Bart again). Very easy and good. Unfortunately the overlay is very unsharp. Only in the car navigation profile, it is as sharp as it should. In other apps like Locus Map, the overlay works perfectely. Any ideas, what to do?

Cheers,

Andreas

P. S. I don't think that has to do something with the conversion tool MAPC2MAPC. They checked it and everything is ok.

That's odd that the overlay is sharp in car navigation, but not otherwise. Two obvious questions: is the problem consistant between different styles? (It should be, but just wondering.) And is it consistant whether or not "Show polygons" is enabled? Also, do you have both Underlay and Ovelay options enabled? If so, what happens if you just use one? (For me, Underlays are the more useful of the two for blending.)

Hi Bart,

it is always the same. If I use overlay maps, underlay maps or both together. And also if I activate 'Show polygons'.

Cheers,

Andreas

P.S. It is consistent in every profile. Only the car profile it works

Well I'm stumped. If no answers are forthcoming here, I'd be happy to try it on my own devices if you care to upload it.

Ok. Now I found the problem. In the configure menue, the map magnifier must be 100 % or less.In all the other profiles than the car profile, it was higher as a default settting.
Thanks to all.

Andreas

Glad you found the culprit. I figured it had to be related to a profile setting.
