Is there a way to insert a pre-recorded voice mail drop and email drop on outbound call using VoIP and a MacBook Pro?  Anyone please advise. I am an novice.

Carol, what do you mean by "drop"? And, a Macbook Pro should have nothing to do anything regarding your question.

Thanks for relying Dan. Like I said, I am a novice, and dangerous because I am asking questions about a topic/software capabilities that I barely understand. Let me give you more details, to assist you in as assisting me.

My partner and I are sending out a mailer targeting a specific audience. I will follow up that mailer with a phone call. If I cannot reach the prospect, I would like to leave a pre-recorded message in their voice mail box. (I would also like to "drop" or send an email to each prospect.) This pre-recorded message will be in my partners voice, not mine, so just leaving a message in the prospect's mailbox is not what we want to do (not to mention it takes too much time). Voice drop is usually automatic, and I should be able to "drop" the message with a keystroke, and then move on to my next call. Vanilla Soft and Close.io.com are two companies that include "voice drop" and "email drop" in their CRM pkgs, but they are much more software than we need. and are not fully compliant with Macintosh computers. I was wondering if there is already a plug in on OpenVBX that will meet my needs.

If you have a suggestion, I welcome it.

Carol

Carol,

I understand now. Thanks for clarifying.
Unfortunately, I don't believe OpenVBX has a plug in for that. You are, more then likely, looking at something custom made.
Twilio gave up on OpenVBX a few years ago. However, some of us, still use it and/or extend it for clients.

Thanks,
Dan

Hello Carol,

Did you ever find a plugin for OpenVBX or other solution that will do this?

Thanks,
Ryan
