Lua UDP socket read timed out

Hi,

Is anyone able to shed some light on this error:

2016/11/29 21:39:00 [error] 163#163: *424165 lua udp socket read timed out while sending to client, client: 111.222.333.444, server: , request: "GET / HTTP/1.1", host: "hostname.domain.com"     

I am using resty.dns.resolver but that module is not outputting any errors so I'm wondering where else this UDP error could be coming from and what might be causing it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello

I think the error log might be the dns.resolver read timed out

because dns.resolver have retrans (default 5 times), when the first time read timed out, there won't be any error log by loged the module.

Ahh yes, that would definitely make sense. I'll look into this further.
