I've successfully imported a powerpoint into OpenCards (newest version) and set it to show the content and quiz for the slide title. Nothing fancy, just text and a single photo on each slide. I can't get more than 10 slides into a quiz before it crashes and gives the warning that I should restart the program before continuing. After the crash it does not show the slide with content only showing, it just shows the entire slide without me clicking the "show entire slide" button. Worse yet: after crashing while it does keep track of how many cards I've seen today, it does not keep track of how many I marked as memorized prior to the crash - making it really quite pointless.

Sad :( Any suggestions?

Hi,

could you file a ticket with the ppt? Without it's really hard to reproduce the problem.

Best,
Holger

Sure thing, attaching it. It's large. Please do not redistribute.

Thanks!
Austin

P.S: I tried version 2.2 in addition to the newest version. Both threw the same error.

Hi,

the problem with your deck was simply the file size which OC could not entirely load into memory. I've increased the memory OC can consume by 4 for the next version which should hopefully solve the problem across a wider range of use-cases.

Best,
Holger
