Node Red Editor Alignment

Just a thought - I hope I'm not going over old ground.  The editor in Node-Red - would be REALLY good if you could introduce alignment - ie an invisible grid that nodes would lock to so they are easier to align. Powerpoint leads the way on this - highlight a bunch of items and left or right align - distribute vertically etc.

Just saying.

Like the one you get if you press shift after you start dragging a node?

to be fair... it isn't very discoverable - you either get told about it or you stumble over it.

And also it gets thrown out under various circumstances. For example, nodes are not left aligned so if you change the displayed text, things no longer line up. There are also various minor alignment issues when zooming.

Not really complaining, just minor niggles and I'm sure there are more critical things to work on.

It would be really nice to have some auto-align functions though that would allow you to select multiple nodes and align- left/top/etc. That would save a fair bit of time when tidying things up.
