Hello everyone,

I was wondering if there was anyone out there who has any familiarity with the "Microfabrication of organs-on-chip" protocol. I am particularly interested in how to make the porous PDMS membrane. The protocol details how to make SU-8 silicon masters for the microchannels, but does not go into detail about how to make the master for the microarray of pillars. I had tried many protocols, but none with any consistent success.  If there is anyone who has achieved this and is willing to help, I would be very appreciative.

Hi sebastian.
other wise
prepare initial template using Lb technique and then try the procedure
do let me know if you find any other procedure

Hello Reddy,

That is the protocol I am currently following. I later found out that they did not make the pillar microarray master wafer themselves out of SU-8, but had another company etch it for them out of silicon. I am currently pursuing that road. Thank you for the other paper. I believe it will be useful.

Hi,

I was wondering if you every made progress in finding a company which was able to create the pillar microarray master wafer?  I am currently following the protocol in hopes of creating the  lung-on-a-chip but have sofar been unable to create the porous membrane.  Cheers in advance for any help regarding this.
