Greetings,

First of all, thank you djcb for the fantastic software. I really enjoy it and it is now well integrated into my workflow. However, I find offlineimap to be extremely unreliable. For example, if I begin composing an email and offlineimap happens to run, I will get and error like the following:

--------------------------
Account sync stevepb:
 *** Finished account 'stevepb' in 0:00
Thread 'Folder INBOX.Drafts [acc: stevepb]' terminated with exception:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/offlineimap/threadutil.py", line 158, in run
    Thread.run(self)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/threading.py", line 763, in run
    self.__target(*self.__args, **self.__kwargs)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/offlineimap/accounts.py", line 458, in syncfolder
    localfolder.syncmessagesto(remotefolder, statusfolder)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/offlineimap/folder/Base.py", line 549, in syncmessagesto
    action(dstfolder, statusfolder)

    register = 0)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/offlineimap/folder/Base.py", line 358, in copymessageto
    new_uid = dstfolder.savemessage(uid, message, flags, rtime)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/offlineimap/folder/IMAP.py", line 554, in savemessage
    raise OfflineImapError(msg, OfflineImapError.ERROR.REPO)
OfflineImapError: Saving msg in folder 'INBOX.Drafts', repository 'pb_remote' failed (abort). Server responded: NO ['Message contains invalid header']

---------------------------

How can I fix this?

Thanks,
Stephen

Perhaps at some point during their lifetime, the drafts are not valid
messages; or perhaps emacs puts backup files in the directory. Hard to
say -- can you see the exact files offlineimap is complaining about?

A work-around would be to exclude the drafts directory from what you
sync with offlineimap.

Cheers,
Dirk.

Thank you. I will try excluding the drafts folder.
