This error occurs after sometime. When it try to connect to softx.

It is important say that we are using VM. We try again at without VM and works fine. Do you know if there are some problems with VM?

Is its connected to 2 or more IP's - multihome and this behavior is seen when network is switched from one to other?

Is it possible to attach the wireshark trace?

I'm having the exact same problem, with Centos 6.4. 

Did you come accross a solution for this?

libksctp-tools is installed, and it's when I'm trying to bring the association UP. 

Any help would be appreciated.

Ok,

when I had this problem, my servers were virtual (openvz). And in this case the kernel of them did not support this communication.

Still have a bug for this case in openvz.

The solution was to move my servers fullvirtual with KVM.

Can this be done using other Hypervisors? Did someone used SCTP server on Amazon?

no, but i need this. my next step is cloud, so, i need this solution.

this implementation is in kernel level.... i think the Amazon have interest this.
