Hi all,
I have some kind of a global configuration settings that applies to
SBBs. I have stored it successfully in a SBB-CMP field and can read/
write to it.

Now I want to access it from 'outside' SBB to change the value at
runtime e.g. with Jmxconsole or MOBICENTS console. Can anybody point
in some direction how to achieve that. Read the SLEE Spec. but could
not identify the way.

Should I use profiles for that ?

Regards and thy for any hint.

/Gerd

Hi,

SBB CMP field are not accessible from outside in any way. These are local variables to an SBB Entity. What's the use case for wanting to do this ?

Regards,

hi,
Need to keep a global level parameter to have some manual control. For e.g., in case of a high traffic situation, bypass database access and continue with a default value.

Assuming that this is essentially the same question as asked in your earlier thread: you want some service configuration information that you can change at runtime.

Profiles are the right tool for that job, not trying to add something nonstandard to SBB CMP.

Hi,
Yes, it is the same question. thanks for the information.
Further, do we have an example code go through?
