OBS Stream not being accepted even with the same stream key as the mint server

I have set up a rtmp server through mistserver, but when obs attempts to push to it, I get the error in the image providedd.

I can't seem to find any answers online or in this forum for why it's not connecting.

I appreciate any help!

Hey there,

From the log message it looks like you got your stream name wrong, or you haven't configured it on MistServers end.

The "Push rejected - Stream "STREAMNAME" not configured or unavailable. 

This is the important message in this case.

You'll need to create a stream within mistserver, set the source to:

push://

Then set OBS to push towards:

URL: rtmp://address/live/

Stream key: streamname

Yeah, the issue is it's the exact same name on both ends, and it's still giving me that error.

Hey there,

Could you perhaps share a screenshot of how the input is set up or perhaps a copy of the config.json? (If there's any addresses in there that you want to keep private make sure to blank them out). 

Might be a setting that's wrong, but I can't say from just this.

I have had this from a server incorrectly setup, needed the trailing slash either removed or added (can't remember which) so
push address was 

url - rtmp(s)://livestream.com:1935/live/ OR rtmp(s)://livestream.com:1935/live
