thanks for your experience, helps a lot to hear! Could you tell me what original titer your virus has before you dilute it 1:5?
We are currently using GCaMP7f in our lab (and record in mPFC) and would be very interested to see if it is worth it to "upgrade" the GCaMP. Our main concern is that GCaMP8m might have quite fast dynamics for miniscopes. How many frames per second do you record usually?
Would it be possible to look at a short snippet of your
recordings so that we can compare it lab internally to our GCaMP7f
videos?
