When living I have consciousness of being alive , but when dead I have no consciousness of death. Thus people who are living have consciousness of other people S death. The spirit exists but it has given consciousness to its creatures and kept eternal peace for itself. On death we attain to that sublime peace.

We are completely controlled by matter and matter has its source in Nature. Thus it is Nature which is responsible for all actions and all experiences.

The spirit is neither conscious nor unconscious rather it is the source of both. It is nirguna ,i.e. it is without attributes.

The spirit is the higher self of all of us, the lower selves are our souls which on deaths of our bodies disappear into the higher self. The higher self is the Atman and our souls are the ahamkaras or egos.

There is no beginning or end of spirit and no beginning or end of Time.In infinite time universes have been born and died,creatures have been born and died in a never ending process of life and death.We can just wonder at the greatness of the spirit or nature and our own limited existence.We are mortals but can be happy if we identify with the Spirit within all and the only absolute being within the relative spirits.
