Gents,

Manufacturer has issued MTC fulfilling all the requirements as mentioned in EN 10204 3.1.

But nowhere it mentions as "EN 10204 Type 3.1"

Can this be considered or do they have to mention that it complies with the requirements of EN 10204 Type3.1"

Regards
Vivek

Hi Vivek,
Please check that the certificate should be independently endorsed by manufacturer's Quality department. It is also to be declared by manufacturer that requirement of 3.1 has been fulfilled by mentioning the same (EN 10204 3.1) on certificate.

Hope, it is clear.

Thanks,
Warm Regards,

Rajnish Dixit

Who is the owner representative here?
Does the owners spec has a requirement for procurement?

Please follow as per that, none of the MTCs are entertained or accepted without inspection certification types, regardless of various types.

Thanks

Dear.

If manufacturer doesnt shown certificate type 3.1 then by doing check test to confirm 3.1 is acceptable.

I am talking about raw material forging not in welding.

My customer's requirement is micrographic examination carried out using replica method and confirm that material is pure tempered martensite and delta ferrite less than 1.5 %.

We have to supply them SA105, SA 182 F11, SA 182 F22, SA 182 F91, SA 182 F92, DIN 1.4923, DIN 1.4122.

My question is that in which material from above customer's requirement is applicable?
