PWHT in Sulphur Storage Tanks

Dear Experts ,

Please can anyone help me to understand the requirement of PWHT in Sulphur Storage tankages . Is it normally needed ? Is anything else we have to look for other than thickness and Material Composition ? 


Kindly help with more details if i missed anything

Dear Friend
Sulphur iscorrosive element form Sulphides to reduce the intensity of corrosion one must control its hardness below 185BHN or say as per NACE 
Therefore for NACE  application PWHT is essential Most of the time SA516 Gr 60 is recomended for CS eqpt
