I have 3 Robomow mowers that were given to me by a friend.  They were working when I got them but I haven’t tried to use them, I have manuals and wire and such.  I was going to try them out but realized they weren’t a good fit for my yard. I’d like to give them to a tinkerer in case they need some TLC after sitting for a while.

Tim,
I have been working with friends of Eastern cemetery volunteering cutting grass and weed eating. We have wanted to get robot mowers.

Sounds like a good use of them to me!

i love this idea.
and if anyone gets all in a twist about 'robots taking good groundskeeper jobs', i'll donate the first months subscription to an AI tool that might be needed to troubleshoot and repair those units, figure out how to 3D print parts, etc.

Dave,
I may be to take you up on helping getting them going. Eastern Cemetery is a sad state of affairs. The cemetery is in receivership with the city of Louisville because the management squandered all of the money. If it weren't for volunteers, it would be completely over grown. It has about 10 times as many burials as there is space for. They were caught clearing old markers and over burying people. The city has no interest or money to do anything about it.

For more information check out: https://friendsofeasterncemetery.com/

And here is a documentary that was done on it:

Thanks,
Chris

Hey I would be interested. I'm fascinated by robotics. If i could get the robot lawn mower to work, it serve my friends dad well on the farm

I'm somewhat decent with fusion 360 and Blender. I can design the certain parts for the robot. I have an Bambu A1 at home

I'm good for a donation - would it be best to make it directly to them using their online form, or in another manner that would assist this robo-mower deployment effort more effectively?
