Kim and I where thinking it would be quite nice to have some food
extravaganza before the Christmas holidays.

Tuesday 21st of December - at 7pm
Bring something for the buffet to share. Big bonus if it is something
you have cooked your self, something from your home country is a great
bonus too. Doesn't have to be typical Christmas food.

Is this something people would be interested in?

Are the cockroaches invited? We should have an amnesty.

Fuck that, lets do the last supper but on the overground :D Its wide
enough for us to get a table in, set it up nicely and eat dinner while
watching the scenery go past (well, stratford and north london
anyway)...

I'll be so sad if this doesn't happen.

+2 (me and husband who doesn't know I've volunteered him yet)
I'm happy to make all manner of weird foods (actually you may like
potato filling - a sort of potato-based stuffing sidedish from a niche
part of USAian cookery) or just cakes/sweet wotnots.

Okay who's going to make the giant gingerbread house? (uhoh i think i
may have just wv'ed myself there)

Erm
I've just looked at my calendar... Tuesday is the 20th of December...
Are we going for a Tuesday or a Wednesday(21st)?

Akki: Sorry Tuesday the 20th it is, the last social night before
Christmas.
Well spotted

Alec: I will probably be able to source some Julmust, we see if I can
sort out some glögg too.

Only if they are cooked properly.

I gave the microwave a good very much needed clean today. So lets not
encourage them to move in there.
Even though the idea of nuking them is quite tempting

Having lived in a share house in Sydney, I can say that they are quite partial to the warmth of the microwave, and don't seem to be adversely affected by the waves themselves. Occasionally they sport little mutations in subsequent generations, such as curled up wings, which is kinda cool. Biohackers?

Yes, Tuesday the 20th it is.
Do we have 2 microwaves at the space now?
I fear it will be problem if we get 20 people who which to heat up their food at the hack at the same time. Keep this in mind.

Shall I get some disposable plates and cutlery or will we be ok with what we got?

20 people eating at the space, with the current track record for doing
washing up? I suspect disposable plates and cutlery is a very good
idea!
