A place for organizing/scheduling Lojban vocal chats

I'm writting this mail to let you know that there's now a place for organizing/scheduling Lojban-only vocal chats:

We'll probably have a try at playing to the 20 questions game via Mumble tomorrow around 4PM~5PM UTC. There are already a few people willing to take part.

I intend to record the session (if nobody objects), as Lojban doesn't have many recordings of spontaneous vocal discussions.

Another Lojban-only vocal meeting has been scheduled to take place tomorrow Saturday 24, beginning at 2 PM UTC, and to last until 6 PM UTC, so that Lojbanists from Europe, Japan and USA can attend (although probably at different times).
This time we'll try using Skype instead of Mumble (but I intend to attend the Mumble Metal Bunker server as well, just in case). Gleki proposed to try using Skype to see whether the sound quality is better there.

As I don't know of any better method, if you want to take part in tomorrow's Lojban-only Skype session, please add my Skype name ( "ilmen-vodhr " ) to your contact list, and I'll invite you to the meeting when it begins.

For next weekend's Lojban-only vocal meeting, I suggest Sunday 1 of February, beginning at 2PM UTC on Skype.
It will last at least until 5PM UTC (possibly longer, as long as people are there and willing to continue), so that jbopre from Western US can take part as well.

The meeting will take place in the "jbobau vokta'a kumfa" group on Skype; if you aren't already member of this group, please contact me or Gleki via Skype (my Skype name is "ilmen-vodhr"), and we'll add you to the group.

If you're willing to chat vocally in Lojban but this time interval is not suitable for you, please feel free to propose another session (you can also check whether there's somebody attending the Metal Bunker server on Mumble).

During the previous sessions, it has usually been the case that after a couple of hours the vocal discussion moves from Skype to the Mumble Metal Bunker server.

Resolving call quality issues:

The audio in a group call is routed through the host of the call.

Thus you have a better chance of good call quality if someone is hosting the call

*with a fairly powerful computer 

*a good Internet connection.  

Upload speed matters as well as download.

DSL particularly is not known for good upload speeds.

I have just recently heard about your welcomed organization of these vocal chats,

and I would like to make a request:

I would very much like to attend these chats.

However, unfortunately, Sunday is a work day where I live (Israel).

Is there any chance of scheduling part of these meetings on a Saturday? e.g. every other week?

Specifically, this Saturday I am free from 13:00 UTC.

Sorry for my late reply.

As I previously said, everybody can suggest a date for the next meeting
(either via Skype or Mumble).
If I recall correctly, Saturday is not an appropriate day for Pierre
Abbat and Gejyspa; however it's possible to schedule two meetings, one
on Saturday and one on Sunday.

Which of Mumble and Skype can you use? (Both are fine, but a number of
people prefer Mumble.)

How about tomorrow Saturday 15:00 UTC?

If ever you have trouble joining the meeting, I will be attending
#lojban on IRC at the same time, so you can contact me there as well.

Will there be another meeting this Saturday?

I've installed Skype on my mobile and it seems that the microphone quality there is better.

My optimal preferred time is 13:00 UTC (during my daughter's nap).
